Overall experience good..the staff was courteous and professional
Knowledgeable and friendly Service Manager; technicians diagnosed and repaired problem in a timely manner. Due to time restraints, the owner (Clay) delivered loaner car to my daughter at Hospital and drove her car to shop for repairs. Thanks for taking care of my daughter, Molly, and delivering the loaner to the hospital. She was concerned about attempting to drive the van to your shop with the battery losing power. She said Clay drove off into the night with only dim tail-lights showing. Glad he made it okay without getting pulled over by Hillsboro's Finest. - DON R
Love at First Visit!
I had a great first experience with Clay's. I went there because of their rating on a google search for Subaru service. They fixed it up in a timely manner, were very professional and did what they said they were going to do...a big deal with me:). The price seemed reasonable. I think my husband and I will take our Toyota there the next time it needs a service. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family! Oh, you should probably know, I am quite stingy with my 5 stars...I don't give them too often.

We arrived unannounced at 3:30 to ask about an oil change. Instead of being asked to schedule one, our vehicle was taken in and serviced immediately. In a busy garage, this is something out of the ordinary. We like Clay's!! - JIM P

Not as bad as we expected.
We brought our vehicle in expecting a large repair. After a thorough inspection and reviewing codes our problem was a simple fix. We truly appreciate the integrity of the staff and owners at Clay's. We have had our vehicle(s) serviced at Clay's for over five years and are comfortable in relying on them in the future.

Brake Job
The brake job was $300 less than we thought it might be going in, and $600 less than the estimate we got from Les Schwab -- hallelujah! That's one of the reasons we keep going to Clay's: they never do work that doesn't really need to be done. Another reason: the kind and helpful people who work there. Thanks for helping us keep our old Subaru on the road!

Fast, Friendly
I had to tow my car in on no notice, and Clay's took care of me on the spot! They were friendly and fast; I was told by another shop that my alternator was shot...but I brought it in to Clay's for the fix and they told me I just needed a new battery! They are honest and awesome! - Anonymous

Yes we will
We are from San Jose Ca; we had a real problem, our power steering pump went-out 2-3rds of the way to Portland. We had a wedding and we had to drive home, all the auto shops were closing for the 4th July holyday weekend. I called Clay?s, at 9am, The said YES WE WILL, they ordered the part and I drove the 4 hours arrived at 1pm, they handed the keys at 4:30pm and my family and I made the wedding and drove home safely. I wish I lived in the Portland area, I would recommend them daily to everyone I meet. Thank you so much and God bless you all. - JIM C

In the 20 years I've been driving, I have NEVER had my car serviced without feeling I've been taken advantage of. Until Clay's. Not only are there no bad feelings, I actually feel really good about the service I've received. I don't ever feel like I'm being sold extra services that I don't really need.
