Each facility that AAA selects must meet strict requirements regarding competency, reliability, cleanliness, overall experience, timely repairs, convenient hours, fair pricing, customer respect and trained, certified technicians.

Eco-Biz Certified -- The Automotive Services Program is one part of the Eco-Logical Business Program and recognizes vehicle service and repair businesses and shops that reach the highest standards in minimizing their environmental impact. The goal of the program is to prevent and minimize pollution generated by small businesses in the statewide area. This is the first multi-media (air, water, solid waste) automotive services certification program in the nation.

ASE - Automotive Service Excellence -- ASE tests and certifies automotive professionals in all major technical areas of repair and service. Finding a competent auto technician need not be a matter of chance. Much of the guesswork has been eliminated, thanks to national program conducted by the non-profit National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).

Oregon Heat Donation Partner -- Partnering with Oil Re-Refining Company (ORRCO), an award-winning environmental oil recycler, we began a nationally recognized Oil Recycling Program in November 2007. Since then, we've recycled thousands of gallons of oil donated by individuals, organizations, and businesses, keeping used petroleum out of landfills, and using the funds generated to help local families stay warm in their homes.

DEQ Environmental Testing -- DEQ manages vehicle inspection programs in Oregon. By inspecting exhaust emissions, DEQ identifies vehicles that are producing more air pollution than expected. In most cases, the test reveals simple, low-cost repairs that are necessary to ensure that the vehicles emission control systems are functioning properly. On average, vehicles that fail emissions tests produce up to four times as much pollution as those that pass.
